Tournament Story

Game: Mario Kart 8 | Date & Time: Nov 7, 2026, 10:00 AM

4-player free-for-all kart racing. Drop in anytime and cycle through heats — no skill floor, just laughs. Top finishers race the Grand Prix finale.

Format. 2-race sets at 100cc with normal items. Points award 15/12/10/8 per finishing position per race. Max 30 points per turn (15 + 15).

Cap. 72 players. First come, first serve.

Schedule.

  • 9:45 AM CT — Check-in
  • 10:00 AM CT — Round 1 starts
  • Heats run back-to-back
  • 11:45 AM CT — Leaderboard locks; top finishers pulled aside
  • 11:45 AM – 12:00 PM CT — Grand Prix finale on the main stream

Hardware. Bring your own Switch + Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. We'll send connection codes 30 minutes before your slot.

What to Do

  • Before your tournament starts, check in on the UEA Discord. Check your registration email for the invite link.
    • All entrants must register for the event and donate to Children's Nebraska through Extra Life to participate.
    • Go to your tournament's channel in Discord to check in:
      • Once you connect with your Tournament Official, they will guide you through the next steps.
      • Tournament Officials will be there to direct you.
